何処の家にもある壁材（ドライウォール/プラスターボード）を使ってオリジナルのデザインアートを作ってみました。
もともとインテリアデザイナーをやっていた事もあって、建材にはとても興味があち、一時期はサンフランシスコで壁専門店を開けたいなあと思っていた程です。もう10年以上前にもなりますが、既にアメリカでは現在日本で流行しているマーブルアートや自然にひび割れの入るペイント、擦れば擦るほど光出すベネッチアン壁ペイントなどもホームセンターにあって、色んな壁を作って来ました。
今回は、彫刻刀で堀り出しながらデザイン化した作品になります。コンテンポラリーな都会のマンションをイメージして作りました。

I tried to create an original design art using wall materials (drywall/plasterboard) that are found in every home.
I used to be an interior designer, so I was very interested in building materials, and at one time I thought about opening a wall specialty store in San Francisco. It's been more than 10 years, but in U.S., marble art which is currently popular in Japan, and the naturally cracks paint, Venetian wall paint that shines the more you rub it, and other things were already available at Home Depot, and I've created all kinds of walls.
This time, I carved out the design with a carving knife. I created it with the image of a contemporary urban apartment.
