赤いブラシのような花が咲くブラシの木と、遊ぶ雀の絵です。
木の板を使い、素材の風合いを生かして、木目を強調して描いています。その線が境目となって形が出たり入ったり、境目を越えてつながったり、複雑に入り組んだ空間を作り出しています。
半透明の蜜蝋の効果を利用し、重層的な描写で繁った枝を表現しています。
 
This is a painting of a brushwood tree with blooming red brush-like flowers and playing sparrows.
The artist used a wooden board and took advantage of the texture of the material, emphasizing the wood grain. The lines act as boundaries, allowing shapes to appear and disappear, or to connect across boundaries, creating a complex, intricate space.
Utilizing the effects of translucent beeswax, the lush branches are expressed with layered depictions.
