ストーリー/知恵の実を初めて口にした人間が見た、知識と快楽の姿。
技法について/作品は、箔と岩絵具で仕上げています。 切り絵に取り組んできましたが、切り絵と箔を組み合わせたのは６年前のこと。特殊紙で作成した繊細な透かし彫りに箔押しをするという技法が 今までにないものだったとわかり、特許を取りました。切り絵と箔仕上げの取り組みをきっかけに、日本の伝統素材やその歴史にも興味を持つようになり、岩絵具等で背景の色使いを取り組むようになりました。 現代アートを通してそれらの素材がこれからも継承されていくことを望みながら、メッセージに置き換え創作をしています。
 
Story: The image of knowledge and pleasure seen by man who ate the fruit of knowledge for the first time.
Technique: The work is finished with foil and mineral pigments.
I have been working on paper cutting, but it was six years ago that I combined paper cutting with foil. I realized that the technique of foil stamping on delicate openwork made from special paper was something that had never been done before, so I patented it. My work on paper cutting and foil finishing led me to become interested in traditional Japanese materials and their history, and I began using mineral pigments and other materials to color the backgrounds.
I hope that these materials will continue to be passed down through contemporary art, and I create works that replace them with messages.
