朝顔がモチーフです。蔓や蕾、萎んだ花など様々な表情に注目して描きました。板の風合いを生かして、主に墨を使って描きました。部分的に蜜蝋を利用した絵の具で透明感のある色をつけています。落ち着いた、しかし深みのある色味を出すため工夫しています。
The motif is morning glories. I paid attention to the various expressions of vines, buds, and wilted flowers. I used mainly ink to draw, taking advantage of the texture of the board. I used beeswax paint in some places to give it a transparent color. I tried to create a calm, yet deep color.
