尻尾のようにフサフサとした花を瓶に挿したものがモチーフです。木目の線で蝶が出たり入ったりして、あえて前後感の曖昧な空間を作っています。影の落ち方も前後の関係に食い違いを感じさせ、非現実的な印象にしています。
The motif is a flower with a fluffy tail inserted into a vase. The butterflies move in and out of the wood grain lines, intentionally creating an ambiguous space with no sense of front or back. The way the shadows fall also creates a discrepancy between the front and back, giving the impression of an unrealistic scene.
