庭に咲いた蝶豆（バタフライピー）です。鮮やかな青の花はきれいな水色のハーブティーの原料になります。半透明の蜜蝋メディウムの効果でぼやけて見える部分と、表面に絵の具で描いてはっきりした部分のバランスを意識しました。
This is a butterfly pea blooming in my garden. The bright blue flowers are the raw material for a beautiful light blue herbal tea. I was conscious of the balance between the blurred areas due to the effect of the translucent beeswax medium and the clear areas painted on the surface.
